Overview
Möbelstory had operated primarily as a physical showroom, with a website used mainly for browsing. As the brand expanded its range and began supporting online purchases, the site needed to evolve into a proper ecommerce platform without losing its calm, considered feel.
Focus
The priority was to design a site that felt credible, warm, and easy to navigate across a large catalogue, while supporting both discovery and purchase. The site needed to scale cleanly across multiple brands, product types, and fulfilment requirements.
Build
I migrated the site from WordPress to Shopify to support a more robust and scalable ecommerce setup. The build involved restructuring thousands of products and SKUs, designing a clear information architecture, and setting up metafields to handle the varying attributes and requirements across different brands.
Custom product templates were created to support brand-specific needs, ensuring each product type could be presented clearly without breaking consistency across the site. The CMS was structured to allow the team to manage updates confidently as the catalogue continues to grow.
Outcome
The result is a site that functions as both a brand platform and a dependable ecommerce system — cohesive, intuitive, and built to support Möbelstory’s next phase without constant rework.
